Authors' Guidelines

International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Medicine Research (IJCEMR), a bimonthly journal, dedicates to the latest advancements in medicine research. The goal of this journal is to keep a record of the state-of-the-art research and promote the research work in these fast moving areas. All manuscripts submitted to IJCEMR must be previously unpublished and may not be considered for publication elsewhere at any time during IJCEMR's review period.


Article Types

The journal considers the following categories of submissions:

· Original Research Articles

· Review Articles

· Short Communications

· Technical Notes

· Perspectives or Commentary (by invitation or editorial approval)


Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's official online submission system:

Online Submission System

If authors experience technical difficulties, they may contact the editorial office for assistance.

Submission must be made by the corresponding author or an authorized co-author on behalf of all authors. All submissions must include complete author information and valid contact details. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts using institutional email addresses where possible. Manuscripts should be submitted in editable Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

Manuscript Template:Authors are encouraged to prepare manuscripts using the journal template.

Before Submission Checklist

Authors should ensure that:

· The manuscript fits the aims and scope of the journal

· The work is original and has not been published elsewhere

· The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal

· All authors have approved the submitted version

· Ethical approvals have been obtained where required

· Funding sources and conflicts of interest are disclosed

· The manuscript has been prepared in clear academic English

· References are accurate and complete

· Figures and tables are properly cited in the text


Manuscript Preparation

The recommended manuscript structure is:

11. Conflict of Interest Statement

Results and Discussion may be presented separately or combined where appropriate.


Cover Letter

Authors are encouraged to submit a brief cover letter including:

· Title of the manuscript

· Article type

· Brief summary of novelty and significance

· Relevance to IJFSA readership

· Any related preprint or prior disclosure

· Confirmation that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.


Title Page

The title page should include:

· Concise article title

· Full names of all authors

· Institutional affiliations

· Corresponding author name and email address

· ORCID identifiers


Abstract

Provide a structured or unstructured abstract of approximately 150-300 words summarizing objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.


Keywords

Provide 3-6 keywords not already used in the title.


Formatting

· Use clear, readable font and standard spacing

· Number all pages continuously

· Use SI units where applicable

· Define abbreviations at first use

· Use consistent spelling


Figures, Tables, and Equations

Figures

· All figures must be cited in the text

· Submit high-quality figures in editable or high-resolution format

· Recommended minimum resolution: 300 dpi

· Figures should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text

· Multi-panel figures should be clearly labelled


Tables

· Tables must be editable (not inserted as images)

· Use concise titles and clear column headings

· Number consecutively in order of citation


Equations

· Equations should be editable and numbered where necessary


Supplementary Files

Authors may submit supplementary materials such as:

· Additional datasets

· Extended methods

· Images

· Appendices

· Code or software information


Supplementary files may be published online where appropriate.


References

IJCEMR uses the Vancouver citation style

In-text Citations

References should be cited in numerical order using Arabic numerals in square brackets.

Example:

Recent studies have demonstrated improved storage stability [1].


Reference List

References should be listed in the order cited in the manuscript.

Where available, authors are encouraged to include DOI links in references.

Reporting Standards

For applicable study types, authors are encouraged to follow recognized reporting guidelines such as:

· CONSORT

· PRISMA

· ARRIVE

· STROBE


ORCID

Authors are encouraged to provide ORCID iDs to improve author identification and discoverability.


Data Citation

Public datasets cited in the manuscript should be included in the reference list where applicable.


Ethics Approval

Human Subjects

Studies involving human participants must state:

· Name of approving ethics committee

· Approval reference number where available

· Confirmation of informed consent where applicable


Animal Studies

Studies involving animals must confirm compliance with institutional and national animal welfare standards.


Field Studies

Where required, authors should confirm permissions, permits, or regulatory compliance for field sampling or plant material collection.


Declarations

Funding Statement

All sources of financial support should be declared.

If no funding was received, please state:

"This research received no external funding."


Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could influence the work.

If no conflicts exist, please state:

"The authors declare no conflict of interest."


Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to provide access to supporting datasets where possible.

Examples:

· Data available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.

· Data deposited in a public repository (provide link/accession number).

· No new data were created in this study.


Use of AI Tools

Any material use of generative AI tools in drafting, editing, image generation, or data presentation must be disclosed in the manuscript.

AI tools:

· may not be listed as authors

· may not assume responsibility for the work

· may not replace human scientific judgment

· may not be used to fabricate data, references, images, or results


Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content.

Example disclosure:

The authors used [Tool Name, Version] for language editing and readability improvement. All scientific content, interpretation, and conclusions were reviewed and approved by the authors.


Plagiarism Screening

All submissions are subject to originality screening using similarity detection software. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or other forms of misconduct may be rejected. 


Peer Review

IJFSA operates a double-blind peer review process. Reviewer identities are concealed from authors, and author identities are concealed from reviewers during review. Manuscripts passing initial editorial screening are sent for independent peer review by qualified experts.

Editorial decisions may include:

· Accept

· Minor Revision

· Major Revision

· Reject

The Editor-in-Chief or handling editor makes the final decision.


Editorial Timeline

Typical processing times may include:

· Initial editorial screening: 3-7 days

· First decision after peer review: typically 2-6 weeks

· Final publication after acceptance: depends on revision and production progress

Processing times may vary depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.


Authorship Criteria

All listed authors should have made substantial scholarly contributions to the work and approved the final manuscript.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that:

· All eligible contributors are listed

· No inappropriate authors are included

· All authors approve submission and revisions

Requests to change authorship after submission must be justified in writing and approved by all affected authors.


Article Processing Charges

Information regarding APCs, waivers, or discounts is available on the journal APC page.

Editorial decisions are independent of payment status.


After Acceptance

Accepted manuscripts typically proceed through:

· Technical checks

· Copyediting

· Typesetting

· Author proof review

· Final publication online

Accepted articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) upon publication.


Appeals

Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision may contact the editorial office with a reasoned explanation. Appeals are reviewed independently where appropriate.

Accepted Forms for Archiving

Authors may deposit the following versions of their manuscripts in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, or non-commercial academic platforms:

·Preprint Version

The original manuscript prior to peer review.

·Accepted Manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript, AAM)

The version accepted for publication after peer review and revision, but before copyediting and typesetting.

·Published Version (Version of Record, VoR)

The final published article as it appears on the journal website, where permitted by the journal’s licensing policy.

 

Guidelines for Deposit

When depositing your work in a repository, please follow these simple requirements to ensure scholarly integrity:

Link to the Original: Include the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) link to the official Version of Record on the Journal website.

License Attribution: Clearly state that the work is published under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Status Update: If a preprint was previously deposited, we recommend updating the repository record with the full citation and link to the published article once it is available.

 

Embargo Policy

Unless otherwise specified by an individual journal, Hill Publishing Group does not generally impose embargo periods on the sharing of preprints or accepted manuscripts.
