Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) combined with triptorelin acetate in the treatment of girls with central precocious puberty (CPP). Methods: A total of 60 girls with CPP treated in our outpatient department from February 2023 to February 2025 were enrolled and divided into a control group and an observation group (30 cases in each group). The control group was treated with triptorelin acetate alone, while the observation group received combined therapy of rhGH and triptorelin acetate. Uterine volume, ovarian volume, and growth indicators were compared between the two groups, and adverse reactions were recorded. Results: After treatment, the reductions in uterine and ovarian volumes in the observation group were significantly greater than those in the control group. Additionally, the increases in height, predicted adult height, and annual growth rate in the observation group were superior to those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combined use of rhGH and triptorelin acetate more effectively inhibits gonadal development and improves growth rate and predicted adult height in girls with CPP, while maintaining a good safety profile.
