Abstract

The digital economy and generative artificial intelligence have reconstructed the training paradigm of business English talents. With its advantages in multilingual comprehension, business scenario simulation, layered content generation, and intelligent learning situation diagnosis, Deep Seek adapts to the trinity curriculum objectives of Comprehensive Business English, namely basic language proficiency, business thinking, and cross-cultural literacy. Drawing on the “Four-in-One” framework for foreign language teaching empowered by large language models (LLMs), this paper takes Unit 4 The Reality of Success in Business as a teaching case and constructs a full-process implementation path covering pre-class intelligent lesson preparation, immersive in-class interaction, post-class layered intelligent evaluation, and extracurricular business expansion. Reusable AI teaching prompts and classroom tasks are designed around three core teaching modules of the unit: entrepreneurship, business strategy, and success narratives. Quasi-experimental teaching practice proves that the human-machine collaborative model supported by DeepSeek can narrow the gaps in students’ basic business English proficiency and improve their ability in case-critical thinking and business output. Meanwhile, this paper sorts out practical dilemmas such as over-reliance on AI, distorted generated content, and insufficient teachers’ digital literacy, and puts forward three optimization strategies including human-machine collaborative teaching norms, cultivation of critical AI literacy, and integrated curriculum ideological and political education. It provides operable schemes for the digital teaching reform of Comprehensive Business English in application-oriented universities.
