Abstract
Objective: To explore the application value of immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: From December 2024 to November 2025, 82 patients with advanced NSCLC were selected. All subjects had an expected survival duration of ≥3 months and were divided into two groups according to a random number table method. Both groups received chemotherapy treatment clinically, while the observation group patients were required to undergo combined immunotherapy. The application effects were compared. Results: The ORR and DCR values in the observation group were 58.54% and 87.80%, respectively, while those in the reference group were 34.15% and 68.29%, respectively. The differences between the two groups were significant (P<0.05). The improvement in immune function indicators in the observation group was superior to that in the reference group (P<0.05). The actual proportions of adverse events in the two groups were 29.27% and 31.71%, respectively, with no significant difference in data comparison (P>0.05). Conclusion: Based on the actual situation of patients with advanced NSCLC, the implementation of immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy can help improve short-term clinical efficacy, enhance patients’ immune function, and does not significantly increase toxic side effects. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
