Abstract

Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of comfortless painless bronchoscopy versus conventional local anesthesia bronchoscopy. Methods: A total of 710 patients undergoing bronchoscopy between June 2024 and March 2026 were enrolled as study subjects. Patients were divided into a control group (n=220, conventional local anesthesia) and an observation group (n=490, painless anesthesia) based on anesthesia method, with comparisons made regarding anesthesia efficacy, adverse reactions, and patient satisfaction. Results: The observation group exhibited shorter anesthesia onset time and procedure duration, higher Ramsay scores, lower overall adverse reaction incidence, and higher overall satisfaction compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The comfortless, painless bronchoscopy protocol combining ramazepam and sufentanil significantly improved anesthesia efficacy, reduced overall adverse reaction incidence, and enhanced patient satisfaction compared to conventional local anesthesia.
