Abstract

Under the dual guidance of strengthening the construction of international communication capacity and implementing the fundamental task of “fostering virtue through education” in higher education, translation courses have become the core carrier of language teaching, cultural communication and value guidance. Understanding Contemporary China: Chinese-English Translation, as a bench-mark textbook for the construction of curriculum ideology and politics in translation majors in the new era, aims to cultivate compound translation talents with professional literacy, family and country feelings and international perspective. As an important support for digital teaching, corpus construction can provide precise, systematic and personalized resource guarantee and technical support for the integration of textbook application and curriculum ideology and politics. This paper proposes a framework for integrating data-driven translation teaching with value-oriented education. The study finds that corpus construction enhances both terminological accuracy and ideological coherence in translation study.
