Abstract

Interpreter note-taking training has long faced structural challenges, including the “black-box” nature of cognitive processing, the experience-based nature of diagnostic mechanisms, insufficient social collaboration, and a lack of dynamic adaptability in evaluation systems. To address these issues, this paper systematically constructs four technology-driven teaching practice pathways: the multi-modal visualization pathway of cognitive processes, the structured diagnosis and knowledge accumulation pathway, the collaborative collective construction of shared inquiry pathway, and the dynamic analysis with multidimensional integration and correlation pathway. The study highlights that the smart pen, through time-synchronized recording and data correlation analysis, integrates listening comprehension, note-taking generation, and interpretation output into a unified analytical framework. This facilitates the transformation of interpreter training from result evaluation to process assessment, from experience-based intervention to data-driven approaches, while strengthening learners’ metacognitive development and social interaction mechanisms within a human-machine collaborative environment. In light of this, the paper aims to provide theoretical foundations and practical references for building a new paradigm in interpreter note-taking training that integrates both data support and humanistic care.
