Abstract
Painting of interdisciplinary materials, main characteristic is integration of heterogeneous media, which includes systematic research on collaborative interaction among properties of materials, intervention of technology, and expression of concepts. Through combining analysis of literature with investigation of contemporary exhibition cases, this research depicts a practical trajectory of multi-media deployment in painting and the mechanism of innovation, thereby revealing the internal logic of materials transitioning from pure intermediary tools to carriers of semantic generation. Research results indicate that integration of diversified materials with digital technology significantly expands dimensions of visual representation, while enhancing the ability of artworks to interact with and respond to real-world contexts, but challenges still exist, especially the accumulation of materials and the homogenization of expression forms. Based on these insights, this research proposes an optimized method that prioritizes conceptual coherence to guide the selection of materials while utilizing technical means to enhance expressive capacity. In summary, integration of heterogeneous media drives interdisciplinary material painting from formal experimentation toward a paradigm of systematic expression, thereby establishing a novel framework for the evolution of contemporary painting.
