Abstract

Cultural ecological protection, with intangible cultural heritage and associated cultural ecosystems as its core, is an important measure to maintain the living inheritance of regional cultural heritage and a key path to forging a strong sense of the Chinese nation community. Relying on its diverse cultural endowments, the Dali Cultural Ecological Protection Zone has created a cultural ecological protection space that is authentic, holistic, and comprehensive, integrating cultural, ecological, and tourism resources. Through policy guidance, fostering cultural identity and developing eco-tourism, it participates in the practice of forging a strong sense of the Chinese nation community, promoting the consensus among all ethnic groups within the region on cultural ecological protection and sharing. This paper takes this protection zone as a case study to explore the value implications, implementation effects, and practical paths of forging a strong sense of the Chinese nation community through cultural ecological protection, providing practical references for deepening the emotional and behavioral identification of all ethnic groups and consolidating the sense of the Chinese nation community.
