Abstract
Objective: To compare the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) and 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging (3.0T MRI) for knee meniscal injury. Methods: Eighty patients with suspected knee meniscal injury admitted from June 2023 to June 2025 were enrolled as research subjects. All patients underwent MSCT, 3.0T MRI, and arthroscopic examination, with arthroscopic findings as the "gold standard". The diagnostic results of MSCT, 3.0T MRI, and arthroscopic examination for knee meniscal injury were statistically analyzed, and the diagnostic efficacy of MSCT and 3.0T MRI was evaluated. Results: Arthroscopic examination confirmed 68 positive cases and 12 negative cases. Compared with MSCT, 3.0T MRI had higher accuracy, sensitivity, and negative predictive value (P < 0.05), while there were no significant differences in specificity and positive predictive value between the two methods (P > 0.05). Conclusion: 3.0T MRI has higher di-agnostic efficacy for knee meniscal injury than MSCT.
