Research on the Legal Protection of Ecological Security Barrier from the Perspective of Integrated Protection of Mountains, Rivers, Forests, Fields, Lakes, Grasslands, and Sands

Abstract
Ecological environment governance work has often been divided and promoted according to elements and departments, with water, forest, farmland, and wetlands being regulated by different management systems, and there is a lack of effective connection between legal systems. With the continuous promotion of ecological civilization construction in the new era, the country has successively proposed to build a community of life in mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, grasses, and sands, emphasizing the spatial interconnection and functional interdependence of various natural elements. Against the backdrop of increasing resource development intensity and rising climate change risks, watersheds, water sources, alpine forests, farmland protection areas, and sand isolation zones collectively constitute important barriers for maintaining regional and even national ecological security, providing practical needs for relevant legal research. Based on this, this study starts from the concept of integrated protection, sorts out the main contradictions in current practice, and provides new ideas for further strengthening the legal guarantee of ecological security barriers from the perspectives of legislative coordination, implementation rules, and cooperation mechanisms.
