Abstract

As an indispensable part of the school curriculum system, the school etiquette course plays a key role in shaping value literacy and ideological and political education. It is not only an important carrier for inheriting culture and standardizing behavior, but also an effective way to guide students to establish correct values and improve moral quality. However, there are many problems in the implementation of ritual activities in schools. School ceremonies often do not fully respect the dominant position of students, and simply take relevant activities as a form to go through the motions, lacking attention and guidance to students’ inner needs. This practice makes the ritual activities superficial and can not really touch the hearts of students, which greatly reduces the effectiveness of the cultivation of school value literacy. In view of this, this paper proposes that to effectively enhance the effectiveness of Ideological and value education for students, and then effectively cultivate students’ value literacy, we must unswervingly adhere to the curriculum concept that the school etiquette course is still an important means of Ideological and value education.
