Analysis of the Application of Food Safety Detection Technology in Food Quality and Safety Management

Abstract

With the increasing awareness of health among people, issues concerning food quality and safety have garnered significant attention. Food safety detection technology, as a crucial means of ensuring food quality, plays a vital role. Firstly, this paper analyzes mainstream food safety detection technologies, categorizing them into physical, chemical, and biological types, and elaborates on the principles, characteristics, and application scopes of each category. Secondly, it delves into the major quality and safety challenges currently faced within the food supply chain, including environmental pollution, misuse of chemical agents, and contamination during processing. Finally, based on this analysis, the paper focuses on how to strategically apply these detection technologies to key stages such as the food production source, processing stages, and finished product testing, aiming to build an effective safety barrier. Through stringent detection measures, food safety risks can be effectively reduced, thereby safeguarding consumer health.
