Abstract

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of combined treatment with Compound Danshen Droplet Pills and conventional Western medicine in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: From January 2021 to December 2024, 45 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI for AMI in the First People’s Hospital of Mengcheng County were divided into two groups using a randomized numerical table method, with 22 cases in the observation group and 23 cases in the control group. Conventional drug therapy was used for the control group, and on this basis, combined treatment with Compound Danshen Droplet Pills was added before and after PCI in the observation group. The patency of blood vessels, the frequency of angina pectoris attacks, the Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) score, clinical efficacy, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores of the two groups before and after treatment were observed. Results: After treatment, the patency of blood vessels, the frequency of angina pectoris attacks, the SAQ score, the clinical markedly effective rate, and the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the observation group was better than the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Combined treatment with Compound Danshen Droplet Pills and conventional Western medicine has a good therapeutic effect on the patency of blood vessels and symptom improvement after PCI surgery for AMI, which can effectively improve endothelial function and improve the quality of life.
