Abstract
Financial news dissemination in the era of artificial intelligence is characterized by automated production, algorithmic distribution, and accelerated cross-cultural communication. As a globally authoritative financial media outlet, The Economist features texts with professional depth and international perspectives, providing exemplarycorpus for studies on English translation of financial news. This paper focuses on its English translation strategies, employing literature review, case study, and comparative analysis methods. It selects relevant news excerpts from the publication as corpus to explore the patterns of English translation of financial news in the AI era. The study reveals that dynamic adaptation of terminology at the lexical level, logical restructuring at the syntactic level, and cross-domain mapping of metaphors at the cultural level are required, alongside establishing a human-AI collaborative translation model—where AI handles basic conversion, while translators oversee cultural calibration and stylistic control. This research provides theoretical references for the practice of English translation of financial news and the optimization of AI-aided translation, facilitating the effective dissemination of cross-cultural economic information.
