Abstract

Under the strategic background of “high-quality development of vocational education” and “Digital China,” promoting the digital transformation of vocational education has become a significant topic in educational reform for the new era. Particularly driven by the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the integration of traditional ideological and political education with modern information technology continues to deepen, injecting new vitality into the inheritance of red culture and its educational pathways. Chongqing, as an area rich in red cultural resources, actively explores new models of “AI + Ideological Education” by leveraging its local revolutionary cultural advantages. It constructs a “five-education integration” (moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education) system, forming a digitally enabled ideological education practice path with local characteristics. This paper takes the practice of red culture education in Chongqing vocational institutions as a starting point, draws lessons from Quanzhou Ocean Vocational College’s “Five Colors, Five Educations” experience, and explores innovative models and implementation pathways for ideological education in vocational education empowered by AI technology.
