Abstract
It is clearly stated in the report of the 19th Party Congress that “cultural self-confidence is a more fundamental, deeper and more enduring force in the development of a country and a nation.” China is now at a decisive moment in achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In the perspective of good Chinese storytelling, discussing how to explain contemporary Chinese values, development concepts and development achievements through the way of storytelling is of great value in gathering the wisdom and strength of people of all ethnic groups, enhancing China's cultural soft power, and providing strong spiritual impetus for the realization of the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
