Abstract

This paper focuses on the communication issues of employees in the EPC project of YUNNAN construction investment group (YCIG Company) located in Vientiane, Laos. By constructing a conceptual framework encompassing five dimensions: personal background, communication channels, communication challenges, communication problems, and communication interests, 60 project employees are selected as samples through the census method. A quantitative research method is employed to collect data, and the SPSS software is utilized for data analysis. The study reveals that there are many deficiencies in the project regarding communication channels, communication challenges, and communication problems. Therefore, targeted strategies such as optimizing the organizational structure, improving the communication mechanism, and strengthening the construction of corporate culture are proposed. These strategies aim to enhance the project communication efficiency and the level of team collaboration, providing theoretical and practical references for the effective management of EPC projects.
