Abstract
In the process of inheriting red culture, this paper explores how mainstream films exercise their artistic empowerment mechanism and construct the identity of the youth group. Combining theory with case studies to look at how traditional stories reenergize red culture and give it a fresh kind of fun using special artistic ways to tell stories, shape people we know, and make us want to see the movie. It furthermore discusses the ways in which these artistic elements affect the recognition and value, emotions, and identity of the youth group. Mainstream films have an important role to play in the promotion of red culture among young people. their own artistic empowerment mechanisms will be able to bridge the gap between historical red culture and contemporary youth, allowing young people to better understand, accept, and inherit red culture and thus aid in the building of their cultural identity.
