Abstract
This paper focuses on the optimization of the protection and inheritance model of Weifang kites empowered by digital design. Firstly, analyze the integration characteristics of traditional Weifang kite-making techniques and digital design, and point out the digital innovation model and synergy effect it has demonstrated in aspects such as technique inheritance and industrial development. Then, we will delve into the problems existing in the application of digital design in protection and inheritance, including the insufficient integration of technology application and cultural connotation, the imperfect digital inheritance system, and the difficulty in the coordination between industrial development and digital design. Finally, optimization countermeasures are proposed for these problems, emphasizing the deep integration of cultural connotations and digital technologies, improving the construction of the digital inheritance system, and promoting the collaborative innovation of industrial development and digital design. Through these measures, the aim is to promote better protection and inheritance of Weifang kites in the digital age, enhance their cultural influence and industrial competitiveness, and provide useful references for the digital development of traditional craftsmanship.
