Abstract

With the continuous deepening of Chinese traditional culture in the field of art, dance, as a cultural carrier, has gradually completed the absorption and transformation of traditional elements. In the practice of editing and creation, problems such as mechanical application of symbolic body language and surface expression of cultural meaning still exist. Some choreographers lack in-depth exploration of cultural connotations and improper operation of repetitive techniques. As a result, the works fall into a predicament of formalization—the transmission of cultural essence is blocked, and the artistic expression is superficial. In the current context of cultural confidence and artistic innovation, it has become a necessary topic to explore the presentation of repetition techniques on the charm of traditional culture. This study focuses on the practice of repetition techniques in the creation and creation of traditional culture, analyzes the specific presentation of movement, rhythm, and spatial dimension, explains its deep correlation with traditional culture, and reveals the unique value of techniques in cultural inheritance and aesthetic construction. It provides a reference path for creative practice and helps the dance art to carry forward the traditional culture.
