Abstract

Based on a cross-cultural perspective, this paper delves deeply into the strategies and effects of the international communication narrative of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China Volume IV. Firstly, the paper expounds on the theories of cross-cultural communication and international communication narrative and their significance for the dissemination of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China Volume IV. Then, it elaborates on its rich narrative content from three aspects: cultural value narrative, political concept narrative, and development achievement narrative. In addition, it includes diverse narrative methods such as story-telling narrative, emotional narrative, and adaptive narrative. Meanwhile, the paper also analyzes the multi-faceted communication channels of official and civilian, as well as international cooperation and exchanges. The research results show that the diverse narrative means and comprehensive communication channels have enhanced the book's international influence and cultural appeal. However, it also faces challenges such as cultural differences and Western public opinion bias. This research provides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture.
