Abstract
Translation has an interdisciplinary nature. Guided by the interdisciplinary integration theory, it is highly meaningful to study and develop comprehensive applied translation practice courses. Based on the basic understanding of translation practice courses, this paper breaks through the problem that translation practice training is not comprehensive enough. It carries out comprehensive practical research on translation and creates a new translation practice course, namely English simultaneous interpreting stenography. It integrates English listening training, English and Chinese translation training involving multiple disciplines and fields, and computer typing training to build up a new system of translation practice courses. English simultaneous interpreting stenography training is such a comprehensive practical course integrating English "listening+translation+typing", which is an innovative research and development of practical course for translation majors. The course aims to cultivate and improve students' English listening, simultaneous interpretation, and computer keyboard typing abilities. It is a comprehensive and practical training course. Guided by the theoretical framework of interdisciplinary integration, this paper attempts to take the English simultaneous interpreting stenography course as an example to deeply explore the teaching content and methods of the teaching, as well as the innovation and reform of the evaluation system of this course.
