Research on the Path of Ideological and Political Construction of College English Curriculum from the Perspective of Three-wide Education

Abstract

Carrying out the concept of "Three-Wide Education" is an important direction for the reform and development of higher education in China. In order to realize the educational goal of "Three-Wide Education", it is necessary to continuously promote the ideological and political construction of various disciplines in colleges and universities. College English plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating students' language ability and humanistic quality, these subject contents determine that College English plays an important role in the ideological and political curriculum of higher education. This paper reflects on a series of difficulties encountered in the ideological and political education of College English Curriculum from the perspective of Three-Wide Education and further proposes to optimize the top-level design, teaching management, and educational platform, form a new pattern of ideological and political education of College English Curriculum with all staff, whole process and all-round education, and aim at to cultivate socialist successors with humanistic quality, cultural self-confidence and international vision for the Party and the country.
