Abstract

Based on the theory of cumulative learning, this paper proposes a two-stage curriculum design for innovation and entrepreneurship education in business schools to cultivate university students' innovative mindset and entrepreneurial skills.  Considering the cognitive development and specific learning needs of business students, the study identified current limitations in teaching methods, including insufficient university-industry collaboration, incomplete curriculum systems, and a lack of progressive, iterative teaching outcomes. To address these challenges, a detailed curriculum framework and actionable recommendations are presented. The first stage focuses on enhancing competition skills to inspire students' innovation awareness and entrepreneurial project design abilities, while the second stage targets real-world problem-solving by fostering students' ability to tackle actual business challenges through university-industry collaboration and practical activities. The results provide a reference for curriculum development in innovation and entrepreneurship education in business schools, supporting the cultivation of high-quality management talent with practical problem-solving skills.
