A Study on the XR Interactive K-POP Design

Abstract

This study investigates the current status of XR (extended reality) technology in the Korean popular music industry. XR technology has created new opportunities for the music sector by enhancing audience engagement and providing immersive experiences. The study employs a literature review and case study approach to examine the application of XR technology within the entertainment industry. It analyzes the characteristics and impact of XR design on artistic creation, music performance, and social interaction in the realm of Korean pop music. Additionally, the article summarizes current design trends and future directions for XR technology in this field. The study aims to promote the integration of the music industry and technology through comprehensive research on the application of extended reality (XR) technology in Korean popular music. Ultimately, this research seeks to facilitate innovation and progress in the expression of Korean popular music.
