Abstract

With the advancement of modern digital technology, the field of music creation has experienced remarkable transformations. The evolution of computer technology not only offers new tools and methods for music composition but also enables real-time music generation through human-computer interaction, fostering the integration of music and technology. The interaction and interdependence between interactive technology and music are particularly significant, as they collectively shape the future of music development. This study conducts an in-depth analysis of case studies involving artists such as Cort Lippe, Liu Jian, and JoAnn Kuchera-Morin, exploring the latest advancements in interactive music technology and the application of interactive platforms like Max/MSP. It also examines the profound impact of technological innovations on the music creation process. This paper aims to reveal how technology promotes the development of music creation, and at the same time predict the possible direction of music creation in the future, to provide a new perspective and thinking for the combination of music and technology.
