Abstract

Men of Honor is a biographical film released by the 20th Century Fox Film Company of the United States. This film was directed by George Tillman Jr., and the film co-stars embraces Robert De Niro Cuba Gooding Jr, and Charlize The-ron. The film illustrates the story of the struggle of Carl Brahill, the first black deep-sea diver in the history of the United States Navy. This paper will analyze in detail the impact of Carl Brahill’s tenacity and struggle spirit on college students according to the performance status and personality characteristics of contemporary college students in the university. Contemporary college students emancipate their minds, face everything with a realistic attitude without reservation, feel everything, and thus collide with ideological sparks, forming their own values. It is necessary to objectively analyze the current situation and characteristics of contemporary college students’ values in order to find ways and countermeasures to help them establish positive values.
