Abstract

As one of the fundamental courses in English education, English writing has evolved from traditional textbook-based instruction to incorporating entrepreneurial practices under innovation and entrepreneurship education. This shift aims to enhance English writing teaching to better prepare students for their future endeavors. Setting up practical English writing courses and mastering practical English writing skills are essential requirements to help students adapt to the future entrepreneurial environment. Only by developing practical English writing teaching tailored to the needs of practical work, can we establish a foundation for students' future employment and entrepreneurship. At present, the actual English writing proficiency of higher vocational students is generally low, and there is a lack of research on effective strategies for them. This paper reviews English writing teaching methods, integrates theoretical frameworks, discusses practical writing strategies, and proposes effective approaches to enhance Eng-lish writing instruction. The goal is to elevate the quality of English writing teaching, identify more appropriate methods for college students, and implement them in practical teaching settings.
