Abstract

In the realm of quality education at universities, ideological and political education, as well as mental health education, play crucial roles. They serve as the primary driving forces for students to develop good moral literacy and values, and they play a bridging role in promoting the comprehensive development of students. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate ideological and political education with mental health education during the educational period. At present, there are still issues in the implementation of ideological and political education and mental health in universities, such as inadequate educational practices and a lack of contemporary relevance. In this situation, it is necessary for university education staff to consider the current circumstances, fully recognize the significance of integrating ideological and political education with mental health education. They should begin by addressing existing issues, exploring more effective approaches to educational integration, enhancing education quality and efficiency, and fostering the holistic development of students' physical and mental well-being.
