Abstract
In contemporary intellectual education, traditional handicrafts play an important role and provide a rich learning resource for students. However, with the continuous progress of science and technology and the rapid development of globalization, traditional handicrafts are facing a series of challenges. This article aims to explore the role and challenges of traditional craftsmanship in contemporary intellectual education, using China's Kesi as a case study for in-depth analysis. By re-examining the value and significance of traditional craftsmanship, we can better understand its importance in shaping personal character, transmitting cultural values, and promoting sustainable development. However, traditional craftsmanship is facing a series of challenges in the face of modernization and market competition. How to better inherit and develop traditional craftsmanship in contemporary intellectual education is a problem that requires our collective thinking and resolution. Through in-depth research on China's Kesi as a specific case, we can provide valuable references and inspiration for the development of traditional craftsmanship. By promoting the essence of traditional craftsmanship and integrating modern innovation, we can inject new vitality and meaning into contemporary intellectual education, allowing traditional craftsmanship to continue to flourish in modern society.
