Abstract

Objective: To explore the preparation of anti-motion sickness acupoint patches and analyze their application effects on motion sickness patients. Method: A total of 80 college students with motion sickness from October 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group (40 cases, receiving anti-motion syndrome acupoint plaster therapy combined with massage of the Taiyang and Waiguan points) and a control group (40 cases, receiving oral 50mg of diphenhydramine tablets). The improvement of symptoms in the two groups was compared before and after treatment. Result: After treatment, the effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group patients, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupoint therapy com-bined with massage of the Tai Yang and Wai Guan acupoints can effectively alleviate symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and vomiting in patients with motion sickness, providing a new medication approach for the prevention and treatment of motion sickness
