Characteristics and Enlightenment of Cultivating Doctoral Talents in Education in the United States

Abstract

The education doctoral degree system in the United States is an endogenous system, which was born on the basis of the unique historical and cultural characteristics of the United States, and is closely linked to the social development, needs, and transformation of the United States. From the perspective of external driving factors, doctoral education in the United States bears many social responsibilities, cultivating students to adapt to the constantly changing society. Society also pays more attention to the issues of higher education, actively intervenes in higher education institutions, and the government actively coordinates the relationship between universities and industrial institutions. The doctoral degree in education in the United States has accumulated rich experience in the process of development and transformation: higher education reform is the prerequisite and foundation for the emergence and development of doctoral degrees in education, the construction of modern university systems is the fundamental guarantee for the development of doctoral degrees in education, and continuous development and transformation are the basic measures to solve the problems of doctoral degrees in education. The educational experience of the United States inspires us: to create an environment for graduate education with doctoral degrees in education; Constructing a quality assurance system for graduate education of educational doctoral programs; Establish a system for the education of doctoral degrees in education in China.
