Abstract
High-skilled talents are an important strategic resource for the country. In order to enhance the recruitment and development of highly skilled talents, the wave of vocational education reform continues. As of 2019, the State Council issued the "Implementation Plan for the Reform of National Vocational Education", proposing to launch a pilot work plan for the "diploma + several vocational skill level certificates" system in vocational colleges. This initiative aims to significantly enhance the modernization level of vocational education in the new era, improve the high-level applied talent training system, and provide high-quality talent resource support to promote economic and social development while enhancing national competitiveness. Developing higher vocational education is an important strategy to optimize the structure of higher education and nurture skilled craftsmen in large countries. In response to the contemporary demands for reform in teachers, teaching, and instructional methods in higher vocational education, as well as the incorporation of on-the-job training, competitions, and certifications. The major in architectural decoration engineering technology has undergone a design reform based on its academic situation and professional characteristics. It has explored a curriculum model that can cultivate talents to meet professional needs.
