Abstract

In the current process of social development and urbanization, the contradiction between humans and the natural environment is becoming increasingly prominent, and traditional landscape design models are no longer able to meet the needs of contemporary society. This article introduces new ideas for landscape design that integrate the human environment and natural ecology through a comprehensive analysis of relevant theories and practices. Among them, the development of traditional and modern landscape design is reviewed, and the current challenges are analyzed. Under the guidance of theory and practice, innovative strategies such as community co-creation, ecological diversity, cultural symbiosis, digital technology, virtual experiences, urban-rural connectivity, and green corridors have been proposed. These design principles aim to achieve sustainability in landscape design by emphasizing the integration of cultural history and natural features, promoting community participation and shared values, and utilizing digital technology to enhance the landscape experience. By integrating humanities and nature, designers can create unique and attractive landscape spaces, promoting harmonious coexistence between people and the natural environment. Future development should be committed to further promoting relevant research and practice, achieving the perfect integration of the human environment and natural ecology, and creating a beautiful and sustainable living environment.
