Abstract

The development plan of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle has brought new opportunities and challenges for the development of the educational career of undergraduate colleges and universities' educational clusters. Starting from the theory of university clusters, this paper takes new undergraduate colleges and universities in the region as the research object and analyses the development status quo of new undergraduate colleges and universities in the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. In the new era and new stage, to promote the development of higher education clusters in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle from a higher starting point, it is necessary to carry out theoretical and practical exploration of the aspects of strengthening the relevance of undergraduate colleges and universities and optimizing the structure of higher education system, building digital platforms and improving the level of digital governance, and perfecting the integration of the "government, industry, academia, research, and application" development routes.
