Abstract

In the era of globalization and high-speed development, translation plays a vital role. Foreign language majors in universities are the main force of translation talent, and translation teachers need to continuously explore effective translation teaching and talent training models to improve the quality of translation talent training in our country. With the strengthening of international cooperation, translation has a great market demand. Translation, as a job dedicated to the Internet, can be independent of the office location, which shows great advantages at this stage. Therefore, translation teaching can be optimized with the orientation of translation competence. Translation majors in private colleges and universities must continue to explore the needs of market and social development, update curriculum settings, and innovate teaching models in a timely manner to improve the quality of translation talents in our country and cultivate composite and professional talents for society. Teachers should improve their teaching ability and English majors’ translation ability, so as to meet the urgent demand for high-level translators in the translation industry.
