How to Correctly Memorize Scores for Music Students in Piano Performance?

Abstract

Piano, as a compulsory course for music teachers, is also the most important course. In piano lessons, teachers often assign music for students to practice, College students' abilities in piano performance vary greatly, as do their memorization skills and habits. However, they are often more likely to feel uneasy and lack confidence when facing normal performance tension and pressure. Therefore, effective memorization methods and techniques can greatly help improve their memorization ability. This article starts with the current situation of college students' memorization and the factors that affect memorization. By analyzing the current situation of college students' memorization and the factors that affect memorization, including reading, theoretical basis, performance, emotions, and other factors, it summarizes the methods to improve memorization ability, including spectral memory, sound memory, action memory, position memory, and other aspects. In addition, it elaborates on tips to solve memory difficulties and strengthen the understanding of effective memorization methods and memorization techniques to improve piano performance.
