Abstract
In order to have a comprehensive understanding of the current research status of China's residential environment for the elderly, this paper uses CiteSpace software to visualize and analyze the quantity and research hotspots of literature related to China's residential environment for the elderly from 2000 to 2022. The results of the study show that: (1) In the past 22 years, the research on rural living environment has gone through two phases, the slow sprouting phase and the fluctuating growth phase, and the number of studies in this direction will continue to grow in recent years. (2) This paper explores the research progress in connotation identification, hot issues and evaluation of elderly living environment through CiteSpace keyword co-occurrence and cluster analysis. (3) It predicts the future development trend of the research on elderly living environment in China. Suggestions for the future development direction of China's senior living space are presented.
