Architectural Heritage Protection and Intervention—A Case Study of Fahai Temple

Abstract
Cultural heritage is the wealth left to mankind by history, and it is a brilliant treasure in the history of Chinese civilization. Nowadays, people at all levels of society and the government have begun to pay more attention to site protection. China's cultural heritage contains the unique spiritual values, ways of thinking, and imagination of the Chinese nation, embodies the vitality and creativity of the Chinese nation, is the crystallization of the wisdom of all ethnic groups, and is also the treasure of human civilization. With the acceleration of economic globalization and modernization. Great changes have taken place in the cultural ecology of our country, cultural heritage and living environment are threatened, and many resorts and historic sites are destroyed to different degrees. Beijing is an ancient capital with a long history and numerous sites, which are particularly important for site protection. By analyzing the protection of the Fahai Temple site in Shijingshan, Beijing, and actively advocating the importance of cultural heritage protection through field research and data inquiry. This paper has also played a positive role in the protection of cultural heritage sites.
