Research on Physical Education Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on Physical Literacy and Professional Ability

Abstract

With the continuous advancement and improvement of higher vocational education in China, the educational goals have changed. The current goal is to develop the fundamental ability to cope with social development and life and work challenges, which necessitates the essential renewal and improvement of teaching reform. In physical education instruction, it is important to integrate sports competition and health knowledge teaching, prioritize the establishment of a healthy and harmonious physical education environment, and focus on enhancing students' physical fitness and vocational skills. At the same time, it is essential to integrate the content of physical education with students' professional skills and consider the future work environment in their respective fields. This approach will provide students with a more comprehensive learning experience that aligns with the societal demand for skilled professionals. Only in this way can we better promote the development of higher vocational education.
