Abstract
With the development of the internet and information technology, dance teaching methods are becoming increasingly diversified. Some dance courses, however, still follow the "teaching-receiving" method and other traditional ways of teaching, which puts students in a passive learning state and leaves them unaware of active learning. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of the "Cone of Experience" theory in dance teaching, with the aim of enhancing the quality of dance instruction. According to Edgar Dale's "Cone of Experience" theory, this paper introduces the definition and correlation between the "Cone of Experience" and dance teaching through case analysis, literature review, and practice summary. The results indicate that the "Cone of Experience" theory has a significant impact on dance instruction, effectively fostering students' imagination and stimulating their interest in learning, thereby enhancing the quality and effectiveness of dance teaching.
