Abstract

Strengthening ideological and political work is an important task for higher education institutions in various regions to implement the Party's educational guidelines, promote the development and enhancement of the connotation of ideological and political work, and fulfill the fundamental task of moral education and talent cultivation. In the current Internet era, higher education institutions across the country have developed a good understanding of the importance of ideological and political work. However, there are also practical problems that hinder the further advancement of ideological and political work. This paper aims to analyze the current status of ideological and political work in higher education institutions, in combination with the new forms and issues in the Internet era. It also examines the problems faced by teachers and students during the teaching process. The goal is to clarify the development strategies and directions in the Internet era, improve the details of work in a more targeted manner, and better carry out ideological and political work in higher education institutions.
