Abstract

With the development of the times, people are more and more aware of the importance of health. Among various sports, aerobics, as a new sport in line with the development trend of the times, has a broad development prospect. Aerobics has been loved by most of the elderly in a very short time because of its many advantages. After the reform and opening up, the living standard of our people has been greatly improved, especially the rapid development of science and technology, the automation of home appliances and transportation has greatly reduced the intensity of people's exercise. Obesity is a widespread disease that has a great impact on the lives of the elderly. In addition, diseases such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia due to obesity are increasing, and these diseases pose a great threat to the health of the elderly. In several aerobic exercise experiments in the elderly population, it was found that: long-term aerobic exercise significantly increased HDL-H in blood, while decreasing triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein (LDL-H) and low-density lipoprotein (VLDL-H) levels. At the same time, other indicators were moving in a positive direction. For example, the percentage of body fat decreases significantly, body weight tends to be ideal, heart rate is stable, as well as cardiovascular function index increases. It has been shown that in the elderly, aerobics exercises can improve lipid metabolism, and cardiovascular function.
