Abstract

In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, major universities have heeded the Ministry of Education's call to implement online teaching using information-based methods. Compared to traditional offline teaching, non-face-to-face pure online electric piano teaching has certain drawbacks. These include reduced perceptibility, insufficient trust, and increased emotional labor pressure in teacher-student interaction. These factors ultimately impact the actual and subsequent effectiveness of electric piano teaching. Therefore, this study examines the challenges faced by Xianyang Normal University's online education program for the electric piano collective during the epidemic period. It further analyzes the fundamental dilemma in the relationship between teachers and students in colleges and universities. Additionally, it proposes a repair strategy for future teaching to contribute to the improvement of this relationship in the new stage of collective electric piano teaching in colleges and universities.
