Abstract
Chinese traditional education places a strong emphasis on moral education, with "fostering virtue" being a core principle. This belief continues to guide ideological education in Chinese universities and colleges, where vocational planning is a key focus. In modern society, these institutions play a vital role in training the next generation of professionals and leaders, making it important to prioritize vocational planning education for students. With the current emphasis on ideological education in Chinese universities and colleges, it is essential to explore the best ways to support students in their vocational planning. This means developing a comprehensive approach that considers both academic and vocational skills, encourages critical thinking about goals and values, and provides students with the support they need to succeed. Ultimately, the goal of vocational planning education in Chinese universities and colleges should be to empower students to make informed, purposeful decisions about their careers that align with their personal values and contribute positively to society. By prioritizing vocational planning education, we can ensure that students are well-prepared to succeed in their chosen fields and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
