Abstract

With the implementation of the national "the Belt and Road" initiative and the continuous promotion of the development and cooperation of the Chinese medicine industry, Chinese medicine is increasingly serving the people of countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road". At the same time, the interest of the Russian people in traditional Chinese medicine is also increasing, and the prospects for Sino Russian traditional Chinese medicine exchanges are very broad. The translation quality of TCM classics is of great significance to the external translation and promotion of TCM. Taking the translation of the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine as an example, this article summarizes the strategies and rules of translators' translation from the perspective of George Steiner's hermeneutic theory by studying the original text and the translated text. It believes that translators should make appropriate compensation for language, culture, style, and other aspects in the translation process, and explores the applicability of solving the problem of Russian translation of traditional Chinese medicine from the perspective of "hermeneutics", a translation theory; I hope it can provide some reference for the translation of ancient Chinese medicine books.
