Abstract

Folk art is the essence condensed from the daily life of the working people in our country, and it is one of the profound historical and cultural deposits of our country. As a part of the cultural heritage of human beings, folk art is about people's emotions, thoughts, and the crystallization of wisdom. There are many kinds of folk art around the world with its own characteristics. It reflects the living state and emotional style of people in different regions. In recent years, along with the impact of modern civilization, the trend of folk art on the verge of disappearance is becoming more and more serious, although all levels of all kinds of departments and institutions have carried out the corresponding rescue, protection measures, but by the project is huge and has had little effect. As an im-portant carrier of traditional folk art, colleges and universities have unshirkable responsibilities and obligations for the inheritance and development of folk art. Folk art can also help college art education to explore new development points, find new development directions, and bring new vitality to the development of college art education. Therefore, from this perspective, folk art is of great significance to local college art education.
