Study on Integrating Labor Education into Professional Curriculum Education—Taking Art Design Major as an Example

Abstract

In the new era, the reform of ideological and political education has been rolled out nationwide from the perspective of "three-in-one education" and the overall quality of students in higher vocational colleges has been significantly enhanced. As an important part of ideological and political education, labor education mainly focuses on primary and secondary school education. In art design majors of higher vocational colleges, compared with professional skills courses, the class hours of labor education are very few, and the value of labor education is marginalized and weakened to some extent. Colleges and universities shoulder the important task of cultivating socialist builders and socialist successors. Colleges and universities actively explore the path of cultivating labor education and integrate labor education into college students' professional curriculum education, which can better cultivate students' correct labor concept, let college students form a good labor attitude and spirit, and promote the all-round development of college students. Based on this, this paper takes art design major as an example to deeply discuss the practical reform and feasible way of integrating labor education in curriculum ideological and political education into professional curriculum classroom in art major education. In view of the problems that the theme of labor education is difficult to embody in the previous courses of art and design majors, the feasibility methods and teaching reform effects of labor education in the courses of art and design majors are explored through classroom practice reform. Through continuous deliberation and exploration, the author gradually realizes the promotion of beauty, innovation and education through labor, and leads students to discover, experience and create beauty through labor education. Based on the characteristics of labor education, this paper discusses how to better integrate labor education into students' professional curriculum education.
