Abstract
Before and after the end of the Anti-Japanese War, the Shandong Liberated Area and the counties under the Hebei-Shandong-Henan Liberated Area had a total population of 35 million, 330,000 troops, and more than 600,000 enemy troops were annihilated. After the war, 63000 people crossed the Bohai Sea and marched into the Northeast. Using abundant archives and materials, through the study of the mass support and participation education movement in Guangrao County, Shandong Anti-Japanese Base Area, this paper profoundly demonstrates how Shandong Party organizations, aiming at the conservative, closed and even ignorant political tendencies of the people in Shandong Base Area, adopt reflection, self-criticism and self-recognition from the aspects of political guidance, spiritual encouragement, value shaping, interest concern and self-identity. The masses in the base areas were educated to support and participate in the mobilization, and the historical picture of the masses' high recognition of the backbone of the Eighth Route Army's Anti-Japanese War was obtained.
